On A Personal Note

Like many families these days, mine is spread out, from the east coast to the west—– including those who live in New York, several New England states, Florida, Arizona, California, and Hawaii – and that’s one reason I love to travel, to get to see everyone who is important to me, whenever possible. My family is also made up of dedicated and enthusiastic travel-lovers, some of whom have been around the globe, to many more countries than I have been myself. And for me, the most fun of all is when travel involves either visiting family, and getting to see the special sights in their locales – or traveling to new places together as a group, to explore, discover, and create marvelous memories that will be cherished for years to come.

So, just thought I’d share a few of my own favorite recent family travel photos. One is of my nephew’s wedding (photo by Micayla Jean Photography) held in a gorgeous park in Northampton, MA.

The second photo is a spontaneous selfie, taken by my brother (on the left side) on a fun visit to LA that my husband Kevin and I enjoyed last spring, on the way back from a week in Maui. We were glad to then get to spend time with my husband’s daughter and her fiance, who had flown in from San Jose, CA, and my brother and his lovely long-time partner, who live in the LA area. (And I always love a good Irish Pub, so this one in Hermosa Beach, CA, was a perfect spot for a family get-together that was a highlight of our brief travel-time in CA.)

Lastly, here I am with my nephew’s wonderful wife, atop one of my favorite red rock mountain trails in Sedona, AZ, which we had just hiked up – another amazing family travel encounter we enjoyed together last winter.

Here’s to many more fun family adventures –
for both my family and for yours!
And always remember…

Life is TRAVEL…Travel is LIFE!
